Biography
THE SIXTY-FIRST CARVING
Tinan
dark
Tinan
dark
The statue sits with its back to a tall, concave surface rising from the pedestal, as if scooted back into its own little niche.
A shallow cave.
She sits upright and tall, her wings pressed firmly against her back, and her eyes forward.
Her tail is curled around her, but stiff. The entire statue seems to— albeit fittingly— be afraid to move. Due to the curved wall of stone behind her, her back is almost entirely obscured. A fae may be able to poke their head back, but it feels unjust. . .
As night falls, the cave of stone at her back begins to glow a sickly green, cast against her, and lighting her from behind. When this occurs, the jaws of the statue unclench to reveal a small glass orb within her maw. It shines the same green as the rest, and feels warm to the touch, as if alive.
It seems to be able to be taken; the glow persists, even away from the statue.
Though something tells you that it should be returned before dawn. . .
If you would no longer like your guardian, please consider returning them to me (161427), or consider finding a new home for them yourself.
