The statue, oddly, is only partially seated on his pedestal.
Like a cat fixing to leap off of a cliff, his forelegs are positioned down the front side, and his gaze is cast downward, as if ready to leap directly into the earth. His hind legs stand on the pedestal, and his wings are partially outstretched, as if to keep balanced. His tail, taut and straight, extends far past the length of the pedestal’s surface.
Oh his head, buried in his mane, is a cub, carved of common stone. They are peeking out over his head, a curious look upon their face. One of excitement
This guardian evokes a feeling of confidence for whatever may be faced next. . .
