Vahnn (VAHN) -- chief executive of the Lightning Flight technology powerhouse, JanusCorp -- isn't afraid of getting his claws mussed in the pursuit of upward mobility. He's been called everything from an unparalleled genius to a duplicitous little worm, with a kernel of truth to be found in either sentiment. Following the previous CEO's mysterious disappearance, he was swiftly brought in to fill their shoes on a temporary, then permanent basis. Over time, the rest of the company's officers were incrementally replaced with a small coterie of dragons that had sworn fealty to their new monarch. Their singular goal? To create products and services that entrench themselves so thoroughly into the everyday life of those that call the Expanse their home that even Stormcatcher himself would have to take note. JanusCorp employees today -- outside of its inner circle, at least -- are of mixed opinion when it comes to their chief executive officer. Some fear him. Others feverishly wish to be him, styling themselves in his image. Yet others are skeptical of his prowess, wondering if the dragon even knows a flywheel from an encapsulated T-nut. Rumors persist about his temper, his playboy exploits, his penchant for fine dining and tailored suits. The only other person he seems to enjoy the presence of for more than show is his second-in-command, Maximilian, who could not be more his opposite. Despite all of these mutterings about the strange aberration, most are too dazzled by his results to want to look too closely into the dark gossip that surrounds him.
