Diet Sprite Diego

Since his birth into the clan (the very first Morningstar hatchling to take a full Morningstar name), Diet Sprite Diego was quiet and grim. Though in spirit he was much the same as his Deathless One mentors, his glamour led him to affiliate with Glitterboys in his youth, and ultimately, he struggled to find one particular place he fit in. His work in musical composition was admirable even from a fairly young age, and macabre creativity was the only venue in which he truly felt able to express himself. Watching the other dragons gather and play in his absence was not sad, but he did recognize that he was not a true member of any sect within his clan. He dearly wanted to find his niche in the community, where someone as brooding and beautiful as himself could serve the needs of Morningstar-- but how?
On the clan's long voyage to the Southern Icefields, Diego stayed toward the back of the pack, contemplating how his unique blend of Morningstar traits could fit into a fulfilling role. When they made camp along the way, he watched the Holding Hatchlings train up at the facility, lingering at the exaltation space when they'd take their leave of this realm to serve greater forces. It was on one of these nights that Diego recognized his calling.
Once the first lair in the Cold was made, Diego approached Slimey Simon and Marshmallow Mack with a plan for a proper exaltation intake and training facility. The two warriors, though callous and rambunctious in most settings, respected Diego's solemn, soft-spoken beauty, and were keen on his ideas. The young Aberration had prepared (possibly over-prepared) for the meeting, and had structured a twelve-page plan to maximize poetic ambiance and effectiveness. The warriors loved it.
Diet Sprite Diego now oversees the dragons who pass through Morningstar Exaltation Training Facility, providing them with tangible resources and the appropriate atmosphere, including candelabras, moonlit stroll-paths lined with thick evergreens, and nightly live violin solos to which trainees may contemplate the depth of their commitment to service in the world beyond.
