Biography
Kothrah felt the air change under her wings as she flew over the Wandering Contagion, something had changed since she last flew over. Circling down she spied a large mound covered in creeping vines with thorns, had this been here before? she wondered. As she landed, plumes of loose earth and miasma billowing in her wake, she realized it was a lair. Drawing closer, Kothrah heard voices spilling out of the entrance, hatchlings of various ages bubbling like a brook. Suddenly a stern voice called out, "Children please! quiet down or I will not allow your naptime story request." Her curiosity getting the better of her Kothrah crept forward into the hall, admiring the patters on the walls and stealing glances into the many rooms fond among them.
As she walked further down the voices grew louder till she reached the entrance to a large round chamber, filled with various plants and books lining the walls in sunken in shelves. in the center of the room, surrounded by a mass of hatchlings of many different races laid a green and orange guardian dragon, holding a book in one claw and gesturing to the pictures and words with the other. It seemed like hours passed as Kothrah beheld this dragon, taking in the way she smiled gently at questions and how she held a purple Gaoler hatchling in her wing, as if to blanket her in comfort. Moments unfortunately interrupted by an angry voice behind her. "And just who do you think you are to barge into our lair like this?"Turning suddenly and knocking over some plants in her surprise Kothrah beheld a light blue mirror dragon peering up at her with narrowed red eyes, baring his teeth.
"My apologies, i was swept up in the storytelling, I am Kothrah, I was passing through."
"A likely excuse, if you dont leave this instant-"
"Ietoro, if she wanted to harm the hatchlings she would have done so when she first arrived," a familiar stern voice innterupted.
Kothrah tilted her head at the guardian dragon as she continued "besides, if my memory serves me correctly, you did the same to me when you first arrived. Greetings Kothrah, welcome to Oroborhalla, I am Irga. You came in during storytime so i hope it was to your liking before it was interrupted."
The larger dragon bowed her head and replied "It is an honor to meet you Irga, your voice was so spellbinding I forgot curtesy and was drawn into your words. Your hatchlings are spoiled to have you tell them stories daily."
"I see you have a talent for words yourself," Irga mused," if you are passing through you are welcome to stay, it will be nice to hear of the other Flights and the goings of the world."
"I will take you up on that and stay till you grow weary of my voice and tales, for I have traveled since I came of age many moons past."
"I look forward to hearing both." Irga smiled.
And so Kothrah came to live at Oroborhalla, and earn the love and admiraton of Irga.
