Biography

Space Parasite

|| Mates with Fabrication ||
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
He was just a young dragon.

It squirmed in a pit having been forcibly detached from a prior host. Heavily wounded it lays there, its body producing a pulsating light faintly visible in the dead of night.

It was only natural curiosity; strange things happened all the time. Maybe someone dropped a lantern or some magic tool. He peered into the hole.

His-It’s tendrils latched onto his-my-our-their body. The struggle was short lived and Cathex felt alive again. It would take some time to get used to this new body.

It wasn’t painful actually, rather oddly comforting. “He” faded away from “his” own mind.

For clarity sake the parasite is named Cathex, the host is technically a separate entity. Of course, that is just a technicality; nothing exists of the host anymore, it was all wiped clean.

With that out of the way Cathex is quite the spontaneous creature and just as naive. Tell them something? They’ll believe you. Send them on a wild goose chase? They’ll keep chasing it till you tell them it was all for nothing. He won’t be mad, he’ll just laugh it off.

He’s usually in very high spirits practically all the time and the only thing he doesn’t seem to like is being reminded he is a parasite. Thinking about those short windows of time where he’s a rather pathetic creature leaves a sour taste in his mouth.

He doesn't seem to care much for individual lives much less the entire clan; their defense and wellbeing are never of importance to him. Perhaps they look like bugs to him, small and unimportant to the grand cosmos, even though he is a vermin in his own way.

Cathex’s age is unknown.

Another small fun fact due to the parasite connecting to the brain and its other mystical properties Cathex’s eyes have a faint glow to them. Most demon’s eyes can be seen in the dark but Cathex’s glow tends to freak even the most seasoned of demon’s out sometimes.
