Biography

Scraps
TEATIME COVEN
Plush Doll/Dollmaker's Assistant/Prototype
Divider-Horizontal.png
One of two living plush dolls that share Darling's tent. She claims to have crafted the two of them herself, but how and why they came to life is still a mystery. Imbuing life into a non-living object is considered a very difficult and rare form of magic, one that none of the witches currently in the Coven has experience with. The two of them are rarely seen apart, and are so close that they're able to finish each other's sentences.

Scraps was originally made as a prototype for the doll that would later become Patches. While Darling maintains that them coming to life wasn't an accident, they aren't so sure. Their body is made from much weaker materials than their twins', and their stitching frays and comes undone if they experience too much stress. It may seem from the outside that Patches is the more dominant twin, but Scraps plays an important role as the only one who can calm them down from their rages. They're also more invested in their role as Darling's assistant than the other doll, gladly taking on the role of shop keep whenever she's attending to other matters.

While pretending to support Patches' one sided rivalry with Mantis and Moth whenever they're around, Scraps wishes they could just all get along. After all, the vast forest the clan calls home is certainly has room for two sets of rambunctious mirror twins!
