From a young age Antic enjoyed it when his family went into town when the traveling carnival came around. He loved trying all the new foods they had to offer and seeing all the different animals on display however what he took delight in the most was the shows where the clowns would run around with their silly faces and pull pranks on the guest or tell jokes, where the magician would make an item disappear and then magically reappear once more. 
Antic was enthralled by the dragons who made people laugh and put the biggest smiles he’d ever seen on their faces. He too wanted to be able to do that and soon he began to practice whenever he had the chance. Every time the carnival would come into town or they would go to a fair he would seek out the clowns and magicians and beg them to teach him the tricks of the trade. Soon he was able to put on his own show for his family and sometimes when the clan would come together for an event he would perform magical tricks of his own and dress up as a clown so he could put big, bright smiles on other dragon’s faces.
It wasn’t long after he began to perform did he pick up the nickname Antic by his family and clan who enjoyed watching him, however Antic was beginning to run out of tricks and jokes and he worried that he wouldn’t be able to put smiles on their faces anymore. So, he set out in search of a teacher who could help him grow. He followed a few carnivals that traveled around observing the various acts and even learning a few of them himself; however, he wasn’t content with what he’d learned and was eager to learn more.
It was in that moment he vowed that he wouldn’t return home until he had mastered all the tricks, knew all the jokes that would turn a frown upside down in a second and would be able to make other dragon’s wear the biggest, brightest smiles they could ever possibly wear in their whole entire lives. He wanted nothing more than to bring joy and happiness to others and he would not rest until he accomplished his goals and made his dreams come true.
