Chapter 1-Chapter 42
-ABOUT-
They were one of three children, born to an obelisk that came from outside of Oden and an artisan of a tundra who was one of Novelux dragons. While they lacked the unnatural magical potential that the other hatchlings in the region had, they were nevertheless cared for by their mother. Equator was the middle child of the family. They were the most athletic of their siblings and were a budding renaissance dragon, catching the eye of the engineers and scientists of Oden. Excited at the prospect of becoming a brand new element of dragon, Equator waited for their moment to shine. They were accepted and soon started to implement mechanical parts into their body.

Now renewed and eager, Equator threw themselves into whatever challenges came across them. They started to take up juggling to increase their athletic abilities, they drew up maps of what the world outside would be like, and they even started to dress themselves up. It all seemed like life would be perfect, but then AGEA shut down. The gears imbued in their fur stopped working. They watched as dragons started to starve and dehydrate. Their mother had left with their brothers, but Equator stood their ground. They were going to keep Oden going. The gears had stopped whirring, but Equator’s soul did not.

Equator would eventually meet two other young survivors. A fae named Asteroid and a nocturne named Question. The oldest of the hatchlings. Equator felt an extra bit of responsibility on their shoulder. They were so fundamentally afraid of failure and felt themselves changing. They at first thought it was just the lack of AGEA’s presence, but Equator soon realized that being a dragoness no longer described them. This was not the only change that occurred within the young tundra’s life, however. They also realized how dependent they were on AGEA. Something had to change, and failure was not an option.
-PERSONALITY-
Equator’s personality is not exactly the easiest to describe. They are assertive, reckless, and full of fire. A jock in every sense of the word. They hold a lot of talents and are always on the race, fleet-footed and bold. Their memory may not be the greatest, but they never forget to carry what is dear to them. Whether it be their friends or their hand-drawn map, Equator is always there in the moment. Some would call the tundra stupid, but that’s not necessarily true. They are a quick learner even if they come off as ditzy at times. Looking under the surface of Equator reveals that there is a lot of boiling stress.

Equator hates the idea of failing at anything. If they fail, they feel so inadequate that they can hardly move. This has resulted in them only performing a few specific tasks that they have gained a special interest in. Athletics, cartography, fashion, and the renewal of Oden are what Equator gravitates towards. Everything else is unknown territory that they would rather leave to the other dragons. This crippling fear of failure has only become stronger with the knowledge that they are not capable of going out into the outside world. It is fearful, but the tundra is not going to give up.

As the oldest survivor of the three, Equator feels a need to protect Asteroid and Question. They never expected to be the dragon that had the most protective role, but their passion is unrivaled. They sit as they look over their territory, singing songs of lost love and lost friendship. They are bold, but they are afraid. Their future is uncertain, and the way their story ends is even more unsure. At least they got everything they need packed up. Equator has since lost both Asteroid and Question and sternly keeps pushing themselves forward. They are still unsure of their future, but ever since becoming a parent, Equator sees both the Clan and their adoptive daughter as family.
-FAMILIAR: ZIGZAG-
A small sandskink that was discovered in the middle of Oden. Zigzag became fast friends with Equator for her sporty nature and eager personality. She loves to go outside when storms are brewing and can often be heard making a lot of noise in a surprisingly melodic voice. She seems to have been brought here almost by fate, and Equator wonders if she is connected to the ancient sandsurge breed. She is allowed to roam free in the territory, but Equator makes sure to watch her
