be careful when traveling at night
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────you don't know what kind of creatures might come out ♪ under the veil of darkness, rei ventured into the clan territory, fully aware that he should not be trespassing, however, he had reached a point of desperation, with nowhere else to seek refuge. his previous clan, had cast him aside, unwilling to cope with his forgetfulness and clumsiness, let alone attend to his physical needs. as dawn broke, rei took refuge in a nearby cave, only to be discovered later by one of the clan dragons. recognising that rei had sought shelter in the demon-infested Red Caverns, the dragon approached rei and pulled him from the cave without warning. unfortunately, the hot summer sun was beaming down on the land below, causing rei's delicate skin to erupt with a hot burning sensation and painful blisters. in shock, the clan dragon ran rei to a nearby cave, where he was treated for his burns. as rei slowly healed, he shared his tale of being ostracized by his precious clan, and the ever-loving clan dragons decided to take rei in as one of their own. rei's personality is mostly moulded by the loneliness he experienced growing up. being allergic to the sun meant that rei could not roam the playing grounds and foster the same friendships that the other dragons his age could. instead, he found comfort within the pages of books, and over time, he found those around him praising him for being more intelligent than expected. he frequently displays clumsiness and forgetfulness and encounters situations where he needs physical assistance. ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
