Warrior & Potential Heir to the Prime

Born to Bumblebee and Knockout, Hotrod was secretly given to his grandfather to be raised alongside his aunts and uncles as a sibling. He is completely unaware of his lineage and firmly believes himself to be a direct son of Optimus Prime and Elita-One. He has had more than a few questions about his bloodline since Elita is an Imperial and Optimus a Guardian, but he has chalked it up to his CNA being altered just like Smokescreen's. He dedicated most of his youth to training in the art of war under the watch of Kup and several other veterans. He has yet to do anything significant, but with every passing vorn, he feels the Matrix's call grow louder.

While he was raised as a son of Optimus, Hotrod is rambunctious in a way none of his 'siblings' ever were. He has none of the inherent loyalty to his parents that most hatchlings have, and he is more than happy to do what he thinks is best for the faction. He is loyal to the Autobots without question, but as he has aged, he has begun to feel a call to go elsewhere and search for what he believes may be the key to restoring his people's homeworld. In light of this, he has gathered a team to begin the search and merely waits for the cycle when Optimus is too busy to notice his absence and stop him.
