Sect Leader of Sisheng Peak from 《二哈和他的白猫师尊》 Husky and His White Cat Shizun Xue Zhengyong is a burly, gruff-looking man, but in actuality he is gregarious, warm, caring individual. He is known for carrying a scholar's fan while wearing his armor, which reads "Xue is beautiful" on one side, and "Others are ugly" on the other. Despite some of his eccentricities, he cares deeply about the less fortunate. He and his brother left the prosperous upper cultivation world to start a sect that would serve the mortal realm, rather than focus on achieving their own immortality. He took in the orphan Shi Mei, and when his brother died, he dedicated himself to tracking down his illegitimate son, Mo Ran, and caring for him once he was brought to Sisheng Peak. He is deeply in love with his wife, and an indulgent, caring father to Xue Meng. He is also a good friend to Chu Wanning, and when Chu Wanning unexpectedly dies, he laments that his friend had no children that Xue Zhengyong could care for in remembrance of his friend. And once Chu Wanning returns to the land of the living, he tries to find him a wife so that Chu Wanning can experience the familial love that Xue Zhengyong himself cherishes. (spoilers from beyond the English official translation) Sadly, Xue Zhengyong meets an unfortunate end in both timelines. In the original, Sisheng Peak is the first sect to fall at the hands of Mo Ran Taxian Jun, and he is presumably killed by his nephew. In the 2.0 timeline, he dies as a result of trying to protect Mo Ran.
