Phae

The sorceress' arrival was foretold by the blood priestess Scio. No one believed her at the time, a babe that looked to be the night sky made flesh. But there she was, a hatchling at their lair entrance. Scio saw her welcomed, name her Phae, which she told them translated to shadow or night, depending on which ancient language they referenced. Once Phae was grown her wings themselves reflected the starry night above, and she clad herself in the gold raiment of her craft. It was with pride Scio left the clan to the care of the young sorceress, making her own way to serve the Great Mother.
Phae could read the stars, see ancient battles and soirees, witness betrayals and alliances made long past. In time she found she could see events not yet come. It was during her study of time to come that she saw his return. The absent son, long away, taken by wanderlust. Her mate. His return was foretold, a dragon to match her darkness, with scales of the night sky. She waited, and watched the distant horizon each day, and read the stars each night. Then it came to pass, and she caught the glimmer of night in brightest day. Their eyes met, and they were one soul and one heart.
