Biography
Patriarch of the One Hundred Saboteurs Challenge
Blue has opinions.
Born where Undertides belong, in a Water lair, with eyes that spoke of a special connection to his deity- a responsibility to his deity!- Blue always knew he would be special. Notable. That he had a purpose. And that his purpose was something to do with the Tidelord. Sure, his colours didn't scream 'water', but he wasn't going to let a silly thing like that stop him. He spent his youth searching for the meaning behind his birth, and preparing himself for his future. It didn't make him any friends among his fellow hatchlings, but he didn't need their approval.
Up until the eve of his adulthood.
Just as he was about to come into his own, he was stolen away- snatched unexpectedly from the comforts of his watery home and thrust into an entirely different world. A hot world. A dry world, or at least a world where the primary source of wet was heavy humidity and grumbling thunderstorms. A world of fire.
He was not built for this.
He pointed out to the dragons who brought him here that he was not built for this, and in fact was very offended that they expected him to stay here. They just laughed at him, and told him he'd get used to it.
As a result he became extremely determined to not get used to it.
He stayed stubbornly ill-suited to his situation as he matured, resisting any attempt to adjust, and meditated on his situation.
And came up with a plan.
Perhaps this was his purpose. Perhaps he was not after all destined to find the Tidelord, or take care of his forces in his absence. Perhaps he was meant for a sneakier role.
Perhaps he was meant as a saboteur.
The Tidelord was not around to take action against the fiery forces of the Flamecaller; his army lacked direction, whereas hers was growing and swelling with every passing day. This could not be allowed to stand. Something must be done.
Something insidious.
Someone needed to create an army of saboteurs, of infiltrators and spies who would weaken the Flamecaller's troops from the inside. Water dragons under the guise of Fire. And who better to do so than himself?
And thus began the Work.
