Information:
Found alongside his older brother, Mortem, Malisiun was barely free from his egg when he had been dragged off and dropped alongside him. Adopted initially by the Evermore, Malisiun was made to train hard as he came of age to learn the secrets of necromancy, his eventual apprenticeship under Nannette only making things even more difficult for him.

Still, even while he struggled, his will carried him through to some extent, though he quickly fell behind Mortem, only staying above Absunter due to his pure will to impress is adoptive family. His simple dedication had already impressed the Evermore and Nannette, even if the latter saw no place for him beyond being yet another minor noble of the deathless lands.

Inevitably though, the Evermore revealed some facts about his past. It wasn't much, a simple silver ring with a line of some sort of shiny blue gem wrapping around the middle of it. But, to the Evermore's (and Malisiun's) surprise, this made the young dragon rethink some things. Having adopted the mindset of Mortem, viewing mortal life as a mistake with his abandoned self as proof, it came to him as some surprise that they might actually leave the hatchling they threw away with something that made him feel.. oddly important.

After months of consideration and reflection, Malisiun decided to follow what his soul was telling him, requesting to act as Apetha's bodyguard, in the hopes of both proving himself capable and learning what he could of the lives of those that had yet to forsake mortality. Initially, he was rejected, but after another year of intense training, and some chance encounters with Apetha herself, he was accepted in his second application, having earned some trust with the Barbarian Queen. Now, he takes his role seriously, even if he is not the most powerful claw one could have.

More than once has he protected his charge- and more than once have the mortals he used to despise surprised him.
