Her name was Kasdeya, a beautiful and delicate Veilspun dragon. She had a long and flowing body, with shimmering wings like a veil that trailed behind her when she flew. Kasdeya was born into a loving family that adored her, but as she grew older, she began to notice the distance between herself and the other dragons in her clan.

Kasdeya was never quite sure why, but she always felt like an outsider. She struggled to connect with others and had a gnawing fear that they secretly despised her. When she was younger, she would ask the other dragons, "Do you hate me too?" and most would respond with confusion, not understanding why she would feel that way.

But as time went on, Kasdeya's anxiety over connecting with others grew more acute. She became fearful that if she allowed herself to truly connect with someone, they would eventually leave her. This petrified her and only made the barrier between her and the other dragons larger.

Her family tried to reassure her and encourage her to socialize, but it was no use. Kasdeya was too afraid to take risks, convinced that she would be rejected or abandoned in the end.

As she grew older, Kasdeya started to isolate herself more and more, spending hours alone in her own thoughts. She didn't have many friends or trusted anyone enough to confide in them. The only relief came when she would take flight, soaring high above the clouds, feeling a sense of freedom that she never found on the ground.

Despite her fears, Kasdeya still longed for friendship and love. She often wondered if there was another dragon out there like her who understood her. But she was too afraid to take the leap and reach out.

Years went by, and Kasdeya continued to struggle with her anxiety. But one day, something changed. She met another dragon who was just as hesitant and guarded as she was. They started talking and Kasdeya felt a sense of kinship with this dragon she had just met.

It wasn't easy, but they slowly built a friendship over time. Kasdeya learned to take small risks and open up little by little. And eventually, she realized that her fear of being rejected was only holding her back from true connection.

From then on, Kasdeya found the courage to connect with others. Her anxiety never fully went away, but she knew that she was strong enough to face it. And for the first time in a long time, Kasdeya felt understood and loved - a true member of her clan.
