Watershadow

As eldest son to Lady Morey and Sir Vesper, Watershadow (often just called 'Shadow' by friends and family) is expected to help leading the clan, and taking responsibility. Stubborn as he can be, though, he usually doesn't. He likes to wander around the forest and scouts far beyond the territory. Loyal to his name, he knows the forests of the clan territory like no-one else, and moves through it like a shadow. His primary duty therefore lies in leading the guards and patrols, instead of the whole clan.

Unlike most Mirrors, he likes spending his time alone with his familiar, or observing the clan instead of joining in. He usually is the one who sees visitors coming, judges if they are friend or foe, and goes announcing their arrival to the clan before they reach it. His motto is 'See all without being seen'.

Watershadow has had some short relationships in the past, but because he is more of a loner and can be very blunt sometimes, they never held up long. His eldest son, Caeruleus, is a large guardian, too large for scouting duty, and has never wanted to do guard duty either. He is a gatherer, which Watershadow finds very regrettable. He always wanted to have a son or daughter who he could learn the skills of a first scout.

He regularly takes his nephew Kylen with him for scouting duty. This enthusiastic and inexperienced young Mirror takes every chance he has to accompany his uncle, and wants to follow in his footsteps to become the first scout. Watershadow's sister, Nightflower, often worries that he will get her son in dangerous situations. Watershadow will never admit it, but he cares for Kylen as if he was his own son. He would never deliberately put him in any danger.

He currently has kind of an on and off relationship with Nushen, a sweet Guardian that he likes, but he isn't sure about his feelings for her.
