Kimura

Kimura is a serious drake who will not part with any money entrusted to him without very good reason. Anyone who asks him to look over their valuables will need to give him a written agreement stating for how long he'll keep it, and under what circumstances - and only those specified! - they may take some of it back prematurely. Despite the paperwork, it is known to all members of the clan that working with him yields incredible results.

He came to the lair as a young lover Uwasa had picked up while on a trip around Sornieth, looking for a new home. The pair eventually found the Dann-j'noss Clan and settled down, with Uwasa taking an immediate interest in the Carnival and starting a business helping other dragons figure out names for their hatchlings. Kimura, on the other hand, found himself uncertain for quite a while, until he noticed how wasteful some of the other dragons were in spending their own and the Clan's treasure. After talking to Bloodwing, the leader of the Clan appointed him the head of the treasury - which until then had not actually existed.

To begin with, Kimura asked around if anyone was interested in saving up for the Night of the Nocturne, which was mere months away. There were quite a few dragons ready to save up and for a long time, they frequently paid the share agreed upon in their contract. Shortly before the date of the payout, however, things began to fall apart. Kimura had gone on vacation with his mate and even before the vacation, more and more dragons had flunked their payment and could not make up what they owed. When Kimura returned he was furious. Not only had there been little to no payments made, but massive amounts of treasure had been withdrawn! After calling all dragons involved and crunching some numbers, he allocated the debt between those responsible, in addition to their usual fees. This move granted him both respect and some dislike. Since it was the first project he worked on, he admitted that he would have to negotiate more balanced contracts in the future.
