Biography

Notes:
  • A strange humanoid (Hylianoid???) from the Depths.
  • Way more afraid of you than you are of him.
  • Eyes eerily glow in the dark, but I still promise he finds you scarier.
  • Strongly dislikes and will avoid brightblooms, but will lurk near activated Lightroots. Leading theory as to why is that he may have a fear of Froxes.
  • Weapons decay in his hands, indicating a link to what gloom still lingers.
  • Attack/defensive capabilities are unknown even after distant observation at length. Everything seems to leave him alone as long as he does the same.
  • Only known vocalizations are slightly distorted and tend to just sound like he's going "wooo" in a soft, hollow voice. It's only endearing as long as you see him before he does it, otherwise it'll probably scare the rupees out of your purse. He seems to mostly do it when he's curious about something.
  • Tends to steal writing utensils and compasses, none of which have ever been seen again.
  • Can climb trees and cliff faces with surprising speed, given his skeletal lower legs.
  • Horned skull appears to simply be a mask, but very well may not be given how it attaches is unclear and he maintains a generous distance between himself and Delvers, preventing thorough study.
  • On multiple occasions he's been caught watching Delvers, only to frantically scramble back into the dark upon realizing he's been spotted. One of those times he faceplanted. They find him rather endearing when he isn't stealing their supplies.
  • Only ever returned an object on one occasion: a locket he witnessed a Hylian become visibly distressed over losing. Having been watching from a fungal tree overlooking their camp, he dropped it and hid further from the ledge before he could be seen.
  • It wasn't lost on the Hylian who must've taken and then returned their locket. As thanks, they called out to him and left their scarf for him to take on the lowest outcropping of the same fungal tree. He couldn't understand what they said, but could figure out the intent and took the gift while they were away.
  • He only knows how to wear the scarf because of watching Delvers that wore them too. Doing it correctly however took him a good 30 minutes.
