NAME: Expanse Operational Construct (ExO-C) 13, Eva Verity, answers to "EV"
AGE: Mentally and physically an adult dragon, but chronologically about six
CLAN ROLE: EV considers herself built with the express purpose of war, and takes any work that will keep her in combat longer.

EXPANSE CONSTRUCTS:

"Enough! Proceed to combat trial 16. Carefully. No harm is to come to the individuals under our employ who have volunteered for it, I repeat, no harm is to come to them..."

Adapted from the crude mix of magicks and wires that hold her employee Polybius together, Alterna has decided to get a bit more ambitious with her work and goals. Expanse Constructs, Alterna's current work, are fully autonomous constructs built with a mixture of lightning's technological prowess and arcane's magical knowledge. All of these constructs are put through rigorous combat trials, then kept by Alterna's side in order to protect her technological empire.

Those that do leave Alterna's side do not speak of the nature of their creation. Whether this is by their own volition or through altered memories is unknown. They are aware of their origins in the lightning flight, but Alterna's name has never once been uttered, allowing her operations to continue uninterrupted...For now.

“BLINKY” - Gifted with the ability of speech, Blinky never seems to leave his partner’s side, and will frequently encourage her to take better care of herself. Sometimes it’s as simple as turning her nose away from the cockroaches and fish heads in the food pile so she can eat something she likes, sometimes it’s getting her to stop throwing herself into battles, sometimes he just needs to remind her to bathe. EV dotes on him right back, leading him to thunderbolts to further empower him and keeping him safe from harm in the process.

nah but really she was very much in love with him and it ended as badly as everyone expects. holed up in her room and did NOTHING for all of three days when she had a chance to rest after his passing. (eventually, blinky finally got her to shower.)
nap queen of the last city. is either awake and firing on all cylinders or completely tapped out. sleeps in completely random places. regularly rolls off the tower mid-nap. #1 sign of trust from ev is her napping next to someone. and y’know, she’s not even sleeping this much to feel more human or whatever, she just naps because it feels good. just exo things.

hasn’t really had any sort of crisis about her existence. she simply is, in her eyes. she was made as a war machine and lives for battle. the idea of living as anything else, to her, goes against the very nature of what she is - maybe a human mind was used to make her, but the reality is that she isn’t that human, and never was. she was always ev. blinky has suggested that her being a warlock forces her to slow down and consider a perspective away from this. he has also asked that ev make an attempt to focus on desk work when she needs to do that.
