About Caramel Hognose Snakes
"The Caramel gene is a recessive gene that when expressed results in a complete lack of melanin making it a type of albino. Unlike the Albino morph witch is a T- Albino type, the caramel is a T+ Albino type. The morph changes the colour of the of the snake, it is a caramel like color and has a completly white belly.

The caramel hognose snake morph is characterized by a lack of melanin but not total removal of it. The resulting snake is usually light yellow or tan with caramel markings across its body."

"In the wild, the western hognose snake feeds predominately on amphibians, such as large and medium-sized tree frogs, as well as small or medium-sized toads and small lizards."
