PERSONALITY: A honeyed tongue belies the eternal scheming that takes place behind soft, doe-like purple eyes. The jewel of the Nebthetites, where Ethel is a battle-hardened commander Alexandrite is a master diplomat and social manipulator, negotiating with other clans (and even other flights) to strike deals that benefit the clan.
One could know and work with her for years and think her nothing more than sweet and beautiful and charming; if one could see the web of all her connections and deals, however, one would be able to grasp the full scope of her manipulation. With her team of spies-- Ominous, Tangle, Tavin, Moros, and Noswaith-- Alexandrite finds ways to make and break alliances between other clans, redirect trade caravans, plant rumors, and even arrange marriages to get what she wants.
Within her own clan, what you see is largely what you get. Charming and witty, she favours her sons Sinensi and Yarrow (though he is adopted), but none can blame her for doting on her children.
It is rumored that she, Ethel, and Abraxia have some sort of intimate relationship with one another, but it has yet to be confirmed.
