Stone stood in the ruins as the rain poured down around her. Each drop, as it fell onto the broken stone, seemed to reverb in her soul. It was deafening.

Scattered throughout lay many bodies, of adults and children alike. Dragons she had grown up with, seen every day as she trained throughout the village. Now she alone stood. The victor. But not one she was happy about.

Sometimes in life hard decisions have to be made. Decisions that can change the fate of an entire country. Unfortunately for Stone, one of those decision lay with her.

She knew her family wasn't evil. She knew that they were good, honest people. But sometimes even good people do bad things - especially when framed for something they didn't do. And when talk of them fighting back started to make its way around, it was clear a war was coming. One that only one dragon had the power to stop.

After this, she knew she would become hated. Be seen as a powerful traitor, who slaughtered her own family, for seemingly no reason. It was her secret to keep.

Through the pain and weight of what she had done, all she had to do now was begin the long battle. She had to find out who framed her family in the first place.
