Ume = plum

Yume = dream

basically, her name means "plum dream" (though it's not grammatically correct, it probably would be more like 梅の夢 > ume no yume > "dream of plum" though that's just my broken grasp on japanese lol)
plums symbolize perseverance, hope, and thriving in otherwise bleak circumstances.

dreams are just that: dreams. fantasies beyond reality. a world destroyed the moment you wake up.

...but in Hotel Mabiya, dreams are real. everything you could ever want might come true in these worlds.
