Biography

Trigger warning: manipulation, gaslighting, invalidation of feelings, low self-esteem
These are still notes, but they go into a bit of detail

Was raised to be cold and emotionless, "as ice dragons should be". He's a loner and tends to stick near the edges of gatherings / events, watching quietly - not because he's edgy, as most dragons interpret him to be, but because he has no clue how to get involved and asking for help was a mark of failure in his old clan. He's desperately lonely, has no idea how to properly express his feelings, and just wants some friends.

Being further isolated by Maraka, who's not providing him with opportunities to practice socializing. She wants him to remain dependent on her for validation and self-worth, and will usually say something like "am I not good enough of a friend for you?" if he expresses any desire to gain more friends. Wanting to learn social skills is usually met with her complimenting his awkwardness or something along those lines. Kept very busy.

Due to his dark coloration, he's usually assigned to a lone guard shift at the refuge's edge. Talimyne came and visited him during that a few times (he hadn't been too comfortable with that, since Maraka definitely would've disapproved), and her death came as a shock to him. From what he knew of her, she wouldn't have attacked Maraka - but Talimyne had always been disobedient. He shouldn't doubt Maraka. She wouldn't lie to him. He just didn't know Talimyne as well as he thought he did. The whole affair still leaves him with a pit in his stomach when he thinks about it.

Eidolon left his original clan because he doesn't feel like he's good enough to stay there. He isn't worthy. He ended up in the hewn city after a lot of traveling (he didn't try to talk to anyone more than necessary due to anxiety and low self-esteem). At first, he thought that a place for outcasts and exiles was somewhere he could at least try to fit in, but now he's very much being manipulated by Maraka and unwilling to even question her.

He's proud of his position as Maraka's personal guard, which had been assigned to him after Talimyne's "assassination attempt". The fact that she trusts him that much is something he finds incredibly validating.
