Rory is the other second-in-command and he’s all about legwork and admin. He is a relatively new addition, and his joining the Stratus clan has streamlined running of the lair and polished off all of their communications, making Crieff and Janine’s life a lot easier. He grew up in the Starwood Strand, in a small clan very dedicated to the use of arcane magic but was prone to magical accidents. He wanted to leave the Starfall Isles for a solid and less changeable home, so left as soon as he was able, among a group of explorers returning to the Windswept Plateau over the eastern sea to report back to their lairs. It was while he was passing through the Reedcliff Ascent that he came across two rather mysterious-looking ambassadors, talking to other clan's leaders about their arts for trade, and he tagged along with them to join the Stratus clan.

He’s intelligent and determined with a very strong sense of justice and compassion ... but his sarcasm, snark and knack for bad jokes are never far behind. Having said that, he is very self-aware and full of empathy and love; especially for Crieff and Janine, who he got dragged into the Trio with very quickly after he entered the clan. His quick brainwork has already helped everyone out of tight spots a good few times even though he’s relatively new on the scene, and has been a big help to the inter-clan networks and the ambassadors he met first. He now feels like he truly has a place somewhere he belongs and wouldn’t give it (or them) up for the world.
