Festival

Music, dance, laughter, and joy! These were all things Festival: The Traveling Performer adored! He lived for the applause of his crowd and laughed along with them as he danced with his enchanted instruments. His biggest appeal according to the crowds happened to be his magical displays though it wasn't his magic weaved into the violins and drums that twirled through the air. They were alive with their own magic and he just so happened to delight them enough that they followed along in his adventures. In the end they helped impress the audience and made him a pretty penny in the process.

All of that money he gathered from his shows he spent on fine luxuries and food. One couldn't say he was bright with his funds, he would much rather peruse sparkling cosmetics that were befitting of his dazzling good looks. Another thing Festival loved to spend money on was fancy food and drink. He could be spotted at taverns after every performance with many audience members still crowding around him and vying for his attention. He didn't make many permanent connections but he was charming by nature and many would leave his presence assuming they were best friends only to find he had packed up and left to the next city by morning without a single 'goodbye'. After all, he was an amazing performer. Slyly, he weaved this talent into his everyday life.

As shallow as he may seem on the surface, he wasn't heartless, he simply found connection through song and dance and didn't need anything beyond that to satisfy him. He was content as the performer to a crowd, bringing joy and wonder instead of heartfelt conversation. Though this didn't excuse the lies he spun to those around him just to get their smiles and praise. The only consistent friends he kept were his instruments which couldn't speak but they understood his means of communication through his shows and didn't press for more than that. Or perhaps they weren't capable of conceptualizing the idea of friendship as it wasn't clear just how conscious these floating objects truly were.

Festival never stopped moving more than a day or two at a time, always hopping along to the next place to find new faces to spark joy in. He enjoyed the sights along the way, not afraid to get lost in the wilderness and witness crashing waterfalls and vast meadows dotted with a rainbow of flower petals. After all, those were the inspirations for the songs. Some say they were inspired to travel because of his tales of the outside world. He took pride in being the cause of such a thing. While he impressed most people with his talent, he was the most impressed with the natural beauty of the world and would continue to explore her secrets to share with the other dragons via his musical displays.
