 AZURE ★ Being one of few dragons to come to town from a reclaimed glacier, Azure sure doesn't mind going in and out of any colder areas. His fur tends to be as thick as a Gaolers, thicker in some cases, for the cold winds to not really bother him all that much. He gets along with almost all Gaelors, minus the ruthless tavern's keeper, in town to which he allows them examine his fur in all it's beauty. Although careful with his stinger, sometimes he'll accidentally sting others as if they were nothing but pesky flies. Azure will apologize when that happens as he keeps his stinger as close to his body as he can for a while. He'll use it when he absolutely needs to, or if bugs start to annoy him to no end. He doesn't use it when others ask him to, as it will only create problems for him down the line. Other than that, he tends to help others to the best of his ability, just so long as it's not to harm others. INFORMATION ★
STORY ★ Azure grew up near a glacier full of various other clan members, from the same breed as him to modern breeds. This clan will always be considered a place he can come back to if he wishes to. His parents taught him that being good will bring good back to him, just so long as he doesn't use his stinger for the worse. His life at the glacier seems all well and good from an outside perspective but it wasn't always daisies and rainbows. Sometimes, fighting happens due to accidental stingings, mix ups with various clan chores and the like. He always tries to make it up when those things happen to the best of his ability. Azure enjoyed singing to those who request hearing a specific song from him. Some even considered him to be the bard of the clan with the amount of singing happening. Although he enjoyed being in his birth clan, Azure took up traveling and singing to those he has met on his journey on finding a more permanent place to live in. He has met a great many dragons who offered gold and misalliance items for his songs to be heard. Some told him that he may become a well known bard if he continues the path he is on. He sung tales of long forgotten journeys, of the deities they worship, and of many places he has once been in. Azure always told the dragons who gives him coin and things to keep for better use than to hear his songs as he wants to sing for free regardless of him not having enough for staying in taverns or for food and supplies he runs out of. Even so, with insistence and refusal to take back, he accepts just so he is able to have food in his belly and a roof over his head for a night or two just to rest. In some places, as long as he provides good singing, he has a place to stay, food, and various supplies with no charge. He appreciates those places, far and few they may be, as he wants to save what little treasure he does have on him for down the road. Be it giving others some for the sake of helping or for his needs. Azure doesn't mind that he gives what he can to those in more need than himself just so long as those dragons pass on the good deed. He doesn't mind if the good deed happens right after he has helped or later on in life. Helping when he can on his journey always made him felt better on hard days. Upon arrive in Oceanside Port, Azure found it quite nice with the amount of busy-ness as it reminds him of his birth clan. Before even getting checked in at the tavern, he is greeted with the mayor and his advisor. Both of whom are quite understanding and offered him a place to stay if he wishes to stay for a longer period of time that isn't in the tavern. He really appreciates that and accepted it, knowing he's going to stay here for as long as he is able to. Azure sings his heart out at the tavern for those who wish to come enjoy the entertainment while staying for the time being or just want to hear him. It also helps bring in more gold for Tonsie to make the tavern more feeling like one instead of a run down old building, only being used for a short time. His songs of his journey up to now always fascinates the children and want to listen more every day. Azure enjoys having the children come as it's a way to teach them about the places they could go to if they wish to when they're older. Some stay however as they don't have the need, or want, to go adventuring, saying they'd miss the town too much to leave it all behind, even temporarily. He'll do what he can to provide any information on other places if those who stay behind wish to learn more and see if they're convinced enough to even try. In the mean time, he'll do what he can to provide good songs and help around town wherever and whenever he is able to.. Even if it means he has to bundle up his stinger in a wrap to keep it from poking others on accident. Azure always apologizes when he happens to forget here and there, that's so far and few in between. Some even consider him not a part of the town with it, regardless if he is kind or not. He knows he cannot always make others happy, just so he doesn't tick them off enough where he needs to leave town for a bit. Azure does what he can to make time for himself and relax, but that doesn't always happens when another dragon asks him about things or he is too tired to do anything at the end of the day. | x |
