Verhexen takes after her mother in demeanor, although she is certainly more willing to spend time around other dragons in the clan. She was the only hatchling of her brood to escape her father's parasitic infection, but her luck stopped there, and she presented as Shade touched quickly after hatching.

Her Shade expresses itself as a vapor, pouring off of her scales whenever her emotions are heightened. Perhaps because of her inherent Light magic, the vapor does not have the rage inducing effect of her mother's ooze, and is instead akin to a soporific, causing a feeling of a pleasant dizziness and a slowing of thought.

Verhexen has made wonderful friends in Veichnot and Tient; she loves listening to the others' stories and gossip gathered from the clan.

She enjoys spending time with the Rose Trio - Kordesii, Rubiginosa, and Semperviren.

Her eggs have shown to be infested with her father's parasite.
