Renegade: The Mad Scientist
Affiliation: The Primaries

Renegade considers herself a researcher, though most others in the Alliance consider her just plain crazy. She came to the Scarred Wasteland in hopes of finding an arcane cure for strains of plague that were encroaching on the Starfall Isles. Instead she became fascinated with the effects of arcane magic on the plagued wildlife she came across. Now one of the clan's more skilled hunters, she spends most of her time holed up in a corner of the lair performing experiments. Most of her clanmates prefer to stay out of her way, convinced it's only a matter of time until one of these experiments goes badly...

Despite her reputation Renegade is reasonably cheerful by nature, and pleasant enough to anyone brave enough to approach her. Her charge as a Guardian is her starbear, Glyph, who never leaves her side... though he, too, thinks she's a bit crazy.

Recently, two new arrivals to the clan offered Renegade an invitation to join them on a combat mission, and she jumped at the opportunity to find more reagents for her experiments. It was Renegade who named this trio of warriors the Primaries, due to their colors... if someone points out she isn't a primary color herself, she just shrugs her wings and says "Close enough!"

The Crimsonbound Alliance was forged in the harshness of the Scarred Wasteland, as many disparate groups of dragons banded together to survive. When Sorneith's magic surged, the Alliance's lair was ripped from its place, warped into the Ashfall Wastes by an unknown force. Now the Alliance is united in two goals: surviving their new home, and finding some way to return the lair to where it belongs.
The Primaries are a trio of warriors who explore the farthest reaches of Sorneith, collecting resources and rare treasures for the Alliance.
