To my dear friend Foalan, whom I met on Lioden many moons ago.

I remember coming across a trade and you needed help kinging your Erebus, who, at the time, was an inbred little primal (you changed to primal with a MOD, I believe) and needed some help. He had plain brown eyes (hence the light alignment [rare version] to appear brownish) and the once popular combo-breeding base of Ebony (closest I could do was Obsidian here, sorry). You loved him to death and could see no wrong in any of these "flaws" of his that most players would have detested; and seeing as my Mercy wasn’t exactly a "best-seller" breeding type, either, I related to your love for the little guy despite not being something you planned to make bank on. You loved him and wanted his bloodline to last; and the gentle white lion with albinoid eyes (soon thereafter bred for to starshine, hence mine’s ice alignment) took him as a friend from then on. They had many adventures through each reign, and each new version continues the legacy that first began with a little stubby-tailed cub of shadows and a bright-eyed ghost of a young lion.

Over the course of our friendship, it’s been a wild one. From redesigning kings, panicking over territory, grieving over loses and failed breedings to compliment circles, gift bombing, and more. And that’s just in-game! That doesn’t count all of the chats we’ve had on the outside (why does that sound like we escaped jail or something lol). You have grown to be more confident, assertive, and wise whilst keeping your kindness and compassion intact. Not a lot of people can say that. I’m very proud of you.

So this is for you, along with leg bandages for his Arms and Legs because he’s the clumsiest lion I’ve ever known, but we adore him to pieces regardless. Thank you for being my friend way back then and still continuing in our lives’ journeys as friends til now and beyond. I hope you will always be as bold as a lion in defending the truth and you will feel the many prayers spoken over you with love and care. May peace, joy, love, and mercy be with you always. - LW<3
