Astarion

Astarion is an intellectual, and obsessively studies plantlife. He compulsively fidgets with his pearl, especially when agitated or nervous.

He has no bonded mate, but is currently incubating a clutch with Gilda.

Astarion has always fancied himself a scholar, and has made it his life mission to record and study various forms of flora. He originally came to Whitcliffe as a guest, wanting to make observations on nearby plants. A combination of factors convinced him to stay; he wished to further study the plants he had found, and he had grown close to the clan's seer. He and Gilda bore a clutch together, unplanned, and although she was pleased, Gilda made it clear to him that this was as far as their relationship could go. Astarion still cares for her dearly, but knows it is unrequited, and truthfully he is a little bitter about the rebuffal. Despite this, he understands, and has no intention of letting it affect their hatchlings.
