Dorian (DOHR-ee-ihn) is a lab technician working in JanusCorp's chemical engineering department. His demeanour is generally more cheery than his cohorts -- especially his immediate supervisor, Bubonica, who has learned to just barely tolerate his banter. Because of this he has become fast friends with the equally talkative Zinn, with many accusing him of intentionally causing minor lab incidents to justify summoning up the other aether and his clean-up crew. The pair are often spotted in the breakroom giggling conspiratorially to each other.

Despite his absent-minded clumsiness, Dorian boasts an almost encyclopedic knowledge of the chemical arts and can recite his tables by heart. This keen knowledge keeps him in the good graces of his results-seeking employers. It also helps in keeping the peace with his coworkers, who are more than willing to endure his chatter to have him troubleshoot a failed experiment.
"Oh, oof, butterfingers -- there goes another pipette!"
