Biography
Fortune's mate
Matriarch of the Liebling Clan
After surviving the collapse of her colony, Fortune found herself on a long journey around Sornieth. She was young, alone, scared, all on her own after the collapse.
Barely a dragon, not knowing many places outside of her previous colony. She learned the basics as a hatchling, of course, like finding insects and shelter, or building some if need be. She was too scared to face what devastation lay in her home. So she fled.
Fortune had been on her own for a small while in the domain of the Gladekeeper before coming across another Fae, Hecate, who she soon discovered was another survivor of the colony collapse. She was overjoyed to hear of survivors, plans to rebuild, and not too much loss. It was not as bad as she feared and she was relieved.
It was not long, only a few hours of conversation, before she asked the other Fae to join her on her travels, solidifying a growing relationship between them.
She was still determined to travel, now too curious about the rest of the world outside of the place she called home in the Viridian Labrinth. She was no longer afraid.
She and Hecate would pick up wandering, lost, injured, or even other curious dragonkind looking for adventure as they wandered together.
This, however, eventually created conflict within Fortune. Where would she house these dragons? Though there are only a few now, there are two Fae, an Obelisk, and two Imperials. Where would these giant dragons fit in such a small Fae colony? She pondered for many a day and night's travel.
Hecate noticed her companion's unusual aloofness quite quickly, and inquired a few times before getting an answer.
"Well, why don't we start a colony of our own?"
Fortune's crest visibly relaxed and her worries were quickly quelled. What a wonderful idea.
"We will have our own colony! Our own home! Together." She excitedly folded her hands together after her declaration before settling down to sleep for the night beside her companion.
"Thank you, Hecate. I will enjoy having a colony with you."
That settled it. After they are satisfied with travel, meeting new dragonkind, and learning new things, they will return to the Viridian Labrinth and find a home to call their own, any dragon welcome to join them. And join them dragons did. From other Fae to Skydancers to Coatls. They accepted any and all, and wished those who set off to travel their own path well.
