Jujubee was a cross of a siamese and balinese cat. Her fur was like a cloud of silk, fluffy but not thick. I cannot find a record of her birthdate but I know she lived to be 13 years old, dying on March 6th, 2023. She was a sweet and loving creature, like a grandmother to all the foster kittens she met. She was even tempered and nothing ever annoyed her.
I think it was my brother who named her, Jujubee was the name of a side character in the book Skippyjon Jones by Judith Byron Schachner. Jujubee, Jezebel, and Jillyboo were the names of Skippyjon Jones' three little sisters. I remember being upset that my brother got to name her and I didn't... after much complaining, my parents caved and let me rename her to Princess Jujubee.
