Biography

Happy-go-lucky and smart as a whip, Maverick is an energetic dragon that can't sit still for long. When he's not sweeping through the frosty air currents around the Frigid Floes, he can usually be found engaging his clan mates in witty banter or searching for new baubles for his collection. His penchant for pulling pranks has earned him a reputation as a trickster; his often careless approach to aerial navigation has led to numerous accusations of reckless flying from his peers. Because of his distinctive coloration and partiality towards shiny obects, his closer pals have taken to calling him by the nickname "Magpie", though he is not overly fond of this appellation.

He was quite proud to be the sole wind dragon amongst the clan—and a member of the Earth, Wind, and Fire triumvirate alongside Enoch and Schokolade—until Kadir entered the picture. He views the Wildclaw male as an unwanted interloper and has dedicated a good portion of his time to harassing the unassuming Wildclaw. A fierce rivalry slowly developed between the two, though while Maverick is intent on beating Kadir at everything and anything, Kadir's participation stems more from his annoyance than any desire to win. Maverick's prejudice against fellow Wind dragons does not extend to his little brother Striker, of whom Maverick is both extremely proud and protective.
