xxx andromeda is an elegant dragon with graceful prowess, personality as fiery as the rosette along her lithe frame. she is a stern but fair leader, valuing justice to a fault; "an eye for an eye" type. not just a figurehead, but a hatchling born into dissent over two hundred years prior to her hold upon ambervale's throne. many years have passed since her coronation, with plenty of opposition along the way, but all can agree that ambervale would not have thrived without her careful claws.

 		andromeda was born into royalty.

her parents, the previous king and queen, were powerful war generals during an era of dissent in ambervale. she grew up during what would become known as the "crimson stones," a coup d'état led by a previous member of the royal court in the hopes of usurping the throne. an attempt on her life was made when she was barely old enough to fly, resulting a lasting trauma that manifested via trust issues and distrust towards anyone smelling of sandalwood.

andromeda was a clawful following the end of the rebellion.

any bit of knowledge she could get ahold of was consumed. she begged and begged her parents to teach her how to fight, a wish granted once she was big enough to stand a chance. an absolute natural, andromeda dominated the training grounds and, eventually, the battleground. only minor fights, for ambervale had entered a new era of peace and prosperity, but her parents did not doubt that she would've achieved the status of war general with ease.

she did not believe in love at first sight. fairytales were for hatchlings, and she was too old for that. even so, andromeda still "fell victim" to such a trope at a royal gala.

valerius, with her iridescent scales and gentle laughter, the daughter of a noble. their courtship did not last long, though it was riddled with anxious missteps and inexperience, but it thrived all the same. nowadays, they rule ambervale together, two halves of the same whole.
