tumblr_otqnrp7EG71v8lm95o2_r1_100.gif Belial, the land-bound Snapper, lamented that they were "never to rise" (Beli ya'al). This "worthless" dragon seeks to lure others into wickedness. Not needing to sleep means that this mission can be carried out all day, every day. Belial doesn't like to sit still and is almost constantly moving. They travel the world to find new dragons to "neg" and lower their self-esteem just a little bit more.

One such dragon was a handsome Imperial who already struggled with his self-worth. Belial convinced him that he'd never find someone who loved him; Belial tolerated his presence, which was about as much as he could ever hope for. So he might as well stay with them, right? Being curious about little dragonets, Belial convinced the Imperial to tend to a clutch of eggs for them. He proved to be a doting father, while Belial remained unattached and showed little concern for the little ones.

Eventually, the Imperial found a support group that convinced him to leave with their kids. Belial wasn't bothered, as this dragon had grown bored of their little "family" experiment and went about searching for their next victim.
