tumblr_otqnrp7EG71v8lm95o2_r1_100.gif Hastur is a cruel, cold, powerful demon. He has a habit of burning stuff when he gets bored. He sometimes hangs out with Ligur (a fellow demon) or the hellhounds. He dislikes holy water.

He didn't know what compelled him to nest a clutch of eggs with the dragon known as Seraph. Curiosity, maybe. Divine will, perhaps? The randomness inherent in the universe? Likely that one. There did not appear to be any deeper reason for his actions. Not that he was good at questioning things he didn't understand anyway. So he waited for a few days to see what would happen.

The day came when the eggs began to hatch. One by one little heads poked out of their shells, each one stranger than the one before. Hastur's disgust at his children was indescribable, unspeakable...ineffable. Their strange forms amused him - briefly - but he quickly lost interest in these odd tiny beings. It was a mistake to have created them, he thought. So he flew off, unconcerned with their well-being.
