Ooh, this is a magnificent Maxwell. Combining that dapper black-and-red vintage finery with monstrous rolling shadows... that's Maxwell in a single vibe, all right. I'm oddly touched by that sanguine rose thorn arm tangle; the rose pinned to his breast is such a nice nod to the little details! I really like him as a Nocturne, too; the trickster breed fits him, but also matches Don't Starve's art style really well in a way I can't quite explain.

Freaking love the combination of the shadow tome (apt element there...) and the malign presence for the Codex Umbra! That presence is literally just a Terrorbeak his beck and call, it's so spot-on... to say nothing of the Night Hands reaching out from his wings. Too bad for him that you can't really control power like that, huh?
