Warrior; Berserker
Riot of Rot Representative Athena is a strong and skilled warrior. When she first arrived, she was the best to go to about battle tactics and honing ones skills, being quick but heavy and strong with a blade or claws, or even both. And when she stared her Coliseum battle career, the clan knew that they could count on Athena to keep them safe. Many things changed when she started to fight in the Kelp Beds. Remaining undersea does things to a dragon and their mind, but none more so than poor Athena, it would seem. The Kelp Beds were the main factor in her turning into a zombie, contrary to common belief that being in Plague's lands would be the thing to do a dragon in. No. Though perhaps it is because she was born a Plague dragon that she was resurrected a zombie. No one is sure. And poor Athena can no longer speak common draconian, or even make any sounds at all. Athena was battling alongside Splash in the Kelp Beds, training young dragons. The two of them were having a difficult time against some depin. Splash and the trainee were very quickly badly hurt and left to die, unconscious from blood loss. Athena was left to defend herself and her fallen teammates, but she too was quickly overwhelmed. The last depin slashed at her, all but killing her. She tried to take a health potion, but it was no use. She expired before it took effect. But then a minute later her heart restarted and she arose as a zombie. At first it was feared that she would attack her clanmates and eat them, as per the stereotype, but that doesn't appear to be a worry. She has made no move to harm any of them, and just doesn't eat at all. Ares has kept a close eye and ear on her and confirmed that she is entirely lax towards those she regarded as a friend before her untimely death and resurrection. Athena still battles in the coliseum, and still mainly in the Kelp Beds. Perhaps she is trying to get vengeance for her own death? Is the original Athena still inside this new, undead one? |
