Lunokhod is a hired Pearlcatcher from the throes of the Windswept Plateau. Born to a tidal mage and a questkeeping Fae, she had a relatively quiet upbringing, and left her home clan pretty silently to chase her own future after maturing. While traveling Sornieth, she met her partner Novgorod while going across the Sea of a Thousand Currents. Trying to carve out her own future, she ended up within the Tangled Wood in Murkbarrow Close, on her most recent quest in life: taking logs and being basically a jailor among books in the . Even though she really doesn't like the job and how she can't see Novgorod too often due to having it, it pays really well in treasure, and is an alright tradeoff for the money, but has been effecting her mentally.
Having to spend the majority of her time in the Archives, she's tried to bring order to the chaos of unsorted books, and while it's given the main part of the place a bit of structure, she also has to take into account the prisoners and if they're going to destroy the books. She's kind of disappointed that they chose to make this part of the Institute a small jail, because there are a lot of really good (albeit absolutely decrepit) books down here that are being neglected.
The majority of logs in the format seen before you has the bulk of the text either written by her or transcribed from an audio log she created. Lunokhod has seen many weird things throughout her time at the institute, even though it's been short. The wind magic she's learned fairly recently has helped her with her job many times.
Lunokhod is a kind person, and tries to be reliable to others, though can get easily distracted. She is pretty chill, tends to not take her job not too seriously. She values the money she gets from the job and the knowledge given to her through it, even if she can't really talk too much about what she creates logs about. She's been involved with various side jobs around Murkbarrow Close alongside this one - this was one of the few full-time openings she's been able to secure.
Her pearl is unusually dark and misty, as if there's something trapped inside it and though that has been of concern to fellow Pearlcatchers - Lunokhod thinks it's normal and doesn't seem to want to talk about why.
Her familiar is a Flying Fawn, which she has affectionately named Piper.
