Sterling "Cockroach" Silverhyde
- He/him
- A guy that is believed to have made himself immortal somehow because he has not died yet and people have tried. He's called Cockroach by the locals because of his inability to die (he jokes that he could fight Luminax and not die no matter what, but he isn't going to attempt it, even if offered a hefty sack of treasure and gems).
- Lone pirate, does well on his own but keeps his distance from other pirates to keep his arse from being chucked into the sea for... past reasons.
- He has a pet parasite that latched onto his arm after attempting to steal a cursed treasure that he was told NOT to go near or touch by various folk. It doesn't hurt him and it seems to be fine staying with him, even when it can let go and sap the life out of some poor soul. It will, however, attack powerful opponents to keep its host safe if he can't fight for himself.
He charges headfirst into danger without a second thought and ends up more scraped up and bruised than before he goes on his adventures, sometimes proudly bringing back rare treasure that many have died trying to get.
- Friends with a bogsneak and a maren. All three go on their own little excursions together every so often and hang out in their own hidden cove.

“Yeah. Fun fact, I’m supposed to be over 50, but I’m stuck looking like I’m in my 30’s. Not sure how it happened or when it happened but it’s pretty neat to me. Or maybe I'm lucky with not dying and my skincare routine is so good that I look eternally young. But I think I'm immortal.”
