Waawaate is the trade master for the commune. He oversees all trade; trade between other clans, trades amongst dragons within the clan, and he settles trade disputes if something goes amiss. He's meticulous and fair, although sometimes he's accused of having very black-and-white thinking. He takes his job incredibly seriously and will help with even the smallest of trades when necessary.

He was sworn into the ancient order of keepers as a younger dragon, spending some time guarding the shade before being relieved of duty early in his thirties. He sometimes makes the trek to the Southern Icefield just to visit former peers and check out old stomping grounds, but for the most part, he sticks close around the commune. He doesn't speak much about his upbringing in Dragonhome, and those who have any details know only that his clan resided in Greatwyrm's breach.

Waawaate is considered a highly respected member of the community. He's a pillar- people turn to him not only for trade issues but in general to settle disputes. He's also very social, with lots of close friends amongst the clan. He and Talah are mates, having met shortly after Waawaate joined the commune. It was certainly not love at first sight- they can both come off a little blunt on introduction, and they have such similar personalities that they found themselves butting heads almost immediately. It wasn't long though that they realized how much they had in common, getting together quietly, as if nothing had happened. (Both rather embarrassed about it after making such a fuss) They've sired many nests together, and are very happy.

He and Talah share a modest den, but also both have their own separate spaces to run their respective careers closer to the commune center. Waawaate's most closely resembles an office. While his den is rather plain, his workspace is adorned with various treasures collected and gifted to him over the course of his time as trade master. He has cabinets stuffed with documents and trade records that despite his attempt to purge always manage to pile back up, although overall it's pretty well organized.

Waawaate enjoys his place here in the commune. Though he hasn't been here as long as some, he's gained the trust of everyone and is treated with as much respect as some of the long-standing members. He knows he's found his home, and couldn't think of a better place to have settled.
