Theme Song: Ocean Man by Ween

"I come with a vision. I am to wander this stretch of beach to protect it from threats that may come from 'cross the water!"

Such were Wharf's first words upon surging out from beneath the waves and bumping into Current. The Guardian explained her intentions to the Undertide, whom listened, but still regarded her with a sense of scrutiny, far too nervous to trust the newcomer right away.

When Onyx came down to investigate the hubbub, she was met by Wharf. The two spoke while Current returned to the water, leaving them both as Onyx stood, arms crossed, atop a sun-bleached rock.

"As part of our passage into adulthood, water dragons dive deep into a hidden cave so that we can receive a vision from the Tidelord."

The mention of the ocean deity's name caused Onyx's fins to bristle.

"When I went to receive mine, I saw myself coming here to this bit of coastland. I saw myself guarding it with my life against any and all danger, serving as protection and guard against threats that may come to this land. I must live here, now. It is the will of the Tidelord."

"Well, you're in the land of the Lightweaver, Guardian." Onyx snipped up at her. "You can settle down and make yourself at home if you want, but if you live within our clan, you will abide by our rules and follow the Light Flight's laws. Understand?"

Wharf, though taken aback at zim's harsh tone, nodded her head and answered gratefully. "Yes! Yes, yes, of course, I understand. Thank you..."

To this day, no one around the promenade has had the heart to tell Wharf about the Tidelord's disappearance. But really...how could she not know?
