An elder aberration, at the end of their life. Terrified, shameful, angry, and stubborn, took their life's study and research and forged a new mutation in the heart of the Wyrmwound, digging their talons in before taking the plunge, body changing and years washed away by churning contagion and violent tides of repulsive bile. Painful in transition but future form grand in its build. Meant to be massive, radiant with energy, ancient power. Stronger than anything they had before, eternal in flesh and mind.

Bringing themselves out of the whirls of rancid disease, Firefly emerged... a hatchling. Fly was angry, something- someone had messed something up, they knew it, but when turning their attention to their partner, Fire just... wasn't there. In their place, the mind of a child, matching their new body. And there the two stood, alone, bitter and angry, confused and hopeful.
