Maidievh and Orsino had long sought for an heir to take up the reigns of their position and practice, should they decide to retire, but their children all had various goals that had resonated with other clans, or serving various deities. Not the type of parents to demand any path of their children, and with the desire to raise more children dwindling, they sought an heir outside the clan.

Enter Anaetherian.

The shy Imperial was looking for a new home, and their inquisitive nature- as well as the anomaly of their multiple eyes- piqued the interest of the pair immediately, and they snatched him up (with Thrawn's permission) as their heir apparent.

Anaetherian is overwhelmed by the culture of Clan Shinga Ai Vuna- the clan is large, with very distinct sects and organizations within its social hierarchy. The clan is also more cutthroat than their previous clan, and they find themselves hiding in the Athenaeum more often than not, burying themselves in their studies.

Lauern has taken a liking to the young Imperial, and she has been patiently teaching them the history of the clan, as well as explaining each sect and organization to them.

Though Anaetherian hasn't been in the clan long, they've already become infatuated with the mysterious, aloof pureblood Imperial, Amaedeus, and become a flustered mess any time they have to talk to him.
