Temptation, Puppet, Idolatry, and Severance have a tent within the Carnival. They are extremely powerful fortune tellers that tell fortunes that warp reality itself. Each of them do it for their own reasons and are rarely all available in the tent at any given time, but the consensus is that watching their fortunes play out (which... often involve a great deal of suffering) is very entertaining.
All of them have a very familial relationship and dynamic. They all see each other as siblings despite not being related and Severance being the youngest feels the brunt of that at all times. Temptation is the oldest and the one that is more often than not in charge. They are the one that is most likely in the tent while the others are off who knows where.
That said... Temptation does love telling a fortune that involves some spicy drama when they get the opportunity. Temptation is also the one who deals with the other Carnival denizens the most and is the one that negotiates with Sikeo to let them and the rest of the fortune tellers stay. Luckily, Sikeo also finds great entertainment from the antics of the fortune tellers and is more than happy to let them stay. The other ringmaster, Wozwald, finds them all a tad creepy though.
Their reality altering fortunes are a result of their signature spells. They all have a different way in which they work and called different things but they all functionally do the same thing by creating a prophecy that must happen no matter what things must be changed for it to occur. Idolatry and Severance have the more potent and severe spells, followed by Puppet, and Temptation's spell is considered the weakest. However, Temptation can still easily alter reality, they just can't do it to the extent their siblings can which is also partly why Temptation is the one who stays home most of the time.
Extermination and Extinction are newer, but were welcomed among the other fortune tellers with open arms. The pair are... more violent than the rest, but still indulge in good fun. Temptation is occasionally intimidated by their behavior, but isn't very worried. To them it feels like Extermination and Extinction have always been apart of their little family...
