Once a normal Spiral dwelling on the Leylines, Vhel'dyr let his curiosity get the better of him. His discovery of harnessable energy crystals was valuable at first, but quickly took over his form and shifted him into a feathered, hungry beast. Fearing for their own livelihoods, his family had him sealed underground, where he fed on the energy emanating from his own discovery, becoming large, fearsome, and restless. He was discovered on accident by Tesselare, upon burrowing himself out to the surface. His kind offerings showed Vhel'dyr the world wasn't full of betrayal, and thus, she became the only dragon it trusted. He helps Tesselare's expedition team traverse the cave systems beneath their new home, in exchange for unlimited access to her archives.

Verdura sees Vhel'dyr as a menace and an affront to dragonhood. Vhel'dyr sees Verdura as a nuisance feebly scrambling for control. The two don't get along, but none of their confrontations have ever been physical. 		61538682p.png TESSELARE____
Tesselare shares his curiosity for the world's wonders. He finds a sort of solace in her that he can't find in any other dragons. They're as best of friends as an ancient horror and the librarian that discovered it can be. 		82756207p.png CURIE____
Curie has Vhel'dyr's respect. That's about as far as it goes. Due to his age, he doesn't understand expedition team lingo and often crosses wires when attempting to speak with her. 		78650646p.png
