Spectrum

Spectrum is an artist who currently resides in one of the small floating islands surrounding Starfall Isles. He was born in the light domain of Lightweaver but moved to the arcane flight of the Arcanist to hone their artistry more and, honestly, its a beautiful place!

Spectrum is an outgoing dragon who doesn't let negative things slow him down. Though, he is quite stubborn and once he sets his mind to things he wont back down which has gotten him into some unfavorable situations. He always means good and never intentionally mean any harm though! He is just very competitive and stubborn.

Stubborn as ever, once he sets his mind to something he will get to it no matter what, even if there is no goal and the path is crumbling under his feet while his wings are heavy and clipped. Love, he loves hard and falls just as much if not more. Xanthus, the dragon that has his heart but does not take it.



"I can not feel this love you speak so much about." Xanthus has told him, in the rare chances he speaks

"Love is such a wonderful feeling, its warm and spreads like watercolor! Its colors blending ours into one into a beautiful masterpiece, that is what love feels like to me at least." They stayed where they are, staring at the setting sun that Spectrum insisted that Xanthus had to sit and watch with him before he inevitably left again. The only response he got was a mist of black smoke beside him where Xanthus sat. Alone once again, in the fading lights of amber.

Lilium!! :>
Lilium has been with Spectrum for as long as he could remember! She use to be pure white but Spectrum painted her whatever colors she wanted to be; though Spectrum refused at first but after coming home to find Lilium in a paint bucket he decided to give in.

An Elegy for Unrequited Love

Oh Xanthus, my love, my guiding star in the night,
Your duty calls you, to the lost and the damned, you take flight.
Your heart is a fortress, your soul bound by chains,
Yet, in my dreams, it's only your love that reigns.

In the Arcane lair, under the shimmering Light,
I paint you in colors, in the quiet of the night.
Each stroke is a whisper, each hue a silent plea,
"When I go, will you guide me too?" echoes in the empty sea.

Your eyes, they hold galaxies, your scales glisten like dew,
In the canvas of my heart, it's only your portrait I drew.
But you are a sentinel, a guardian of the lost,
And I, a mere Skydancer, know well the cost.

I see you in the sunrise, in the twilight's glow,
In the dance of the shadows, in the winter's snow.
Your absence is a void, a chasm, a tear,
Yet, I hold onto the love, the pain I willingly bear.

Each farewell is a dagger, each goodbye a thorn,
Yet, I greet each dawn, my heart forlorn.
For in the silence of the night, in the echoes of the day,
It's your name my heart whispers, it's for your love I pray.

Oh Xanthus, my love, my unending plight,
In the realm of dreams, you are my knight.
Bound by duty, forever you may be,
But in my heart, it's only your love I see.

So, I pen this elegy, a testament of my love, my pain,
A symphony of longing, a love that shall remain.
For even if unrequited, even if it's in vain,
I'd choose your love, over and over again
